Canon RF Mount. The Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM belongs to Canon’s line of RF-mount lenses. It’s compatible with RF cameras, such as the EOS R5, EOS R6, EOS R, EOS Ra, and EOS RP. It does not work with Canon EF-mount cameras.

Versatile Telephoto Zoom. This lens’s focal length covers a portrait to short-tele focal range, making it perfect for sports shooters and event photographers. The constant f/4 aperture isn’t useful for low-light shooting, so you’ll probably want to stick with outdoor lighting conditions for best results.

This lens’s eleven-group/sixteen-element optical design includes four Ultra-Low Dispersion elements that reduce aberrations, color fringing, and distortion for maximum clarity, color accuracy, sharpness, and rendering. Canon has applied an Air Sphere Coating to each lens element to combat backlit ghosting and flaring while keeping contrast high.

Customizable Control Ring. You can configure the RF 70-200’s customizable control ring to adjust a variety of exposure settings, such as aperture, ISO, and exposure compensation.
