Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM Lens Sample Pictures

Sunset is easily my favorite time of the day. Even if I don't have a camera in my hands. I never tire of color in the sky.
 
Capturing a beautiful image of a brilliantly colored sky is easy. And in this case, I added a simple skyline silhouette for the base of the image. Add a little saturation and perhaps some contrast in post processing to gain some extra brilliance in your image.

The natural smile tells the story of the mood. It's a good one.
 
The background was busy and my time was short (she was on the move). I quickly selected a perspective that avoided most background lines interesting the left side of my subject. This is a nice 35mm portrait focus distance – near-minimum for a pleasing portrait perspective.

A pair of girls are moving fast on their saucer sleds. The bright colors of winter clothing and sleds stands out in the more subdued winter landscape.
