A Quarter Horse foal appears to be flying as it frolics in the pasture. A slow (narrow maximum aperture opening) lens made stopping action difficult on this cloudy day. ISO 1600 gave me a shutter speed too slow to eliminate the motion blur with this lens wide open.

Warm-colored light from a setting sun illuminates a stone barn. The f/11 aperture at the widest focal length setting delivers a deep depth of field.
