Canon TS-E 90mm f/2.8 Tilt-Shift Lens Sample Pictures

The tilt/shift lens renders all except the young girl's face out of focus.

With the tilt/shift focus plane tilted this way, the little girl's entire body is in focus.

With face and arms in focus, the little girl's body fades into a blur.

A brilliantly colored purple Climatis flower is surrounded by its light green foliage.

I'm not sure the insect is beautiful, but the flower and blurred foliage behind it is.

A tilt-shift lens allows this little girl's body to remain in focus even at an f/2.8 aperture.

Smiles were not in abundance this day. Notice that her body is very out of focus.

With the lens tilted, various stems of Goldenrod appear in focus even at f/2.8.

With no lens tilt, only a single stem or two remain in focus at f/2.8.

Once again tilted, the lens renders many Goldenrod stems in focus.

A tilt-shift lens allows the top of the flower to remain in focus even though it is not parallel to the focus plane - even at f/3.2.

The outstandingly beautiful Climatis flower is a great photo subject.

A strong lens tilt allows the creative bluring exhibited in this picture.

A strong lens tilt causes this girl's feet to be more blurred than the distant mountain tops.

For comparison, here is a non-tilted lens view.

Utilizing lens tilt, the only in-focus part of this picture is the far mountain side between the framing trees.

With little or no lens tilt, the image is similar to that from a standard 90mm lens.

Tilting the focus plane allows much of this Cabaret Maiden Grass stalk to remain in focus at f/2.8.

The non-tilted lens renders most of the Cabaret Maiden Grass stalk heavily blurred. (Note that the camera angle is slightly different than the previous image.)

Other Zinnia flowers create a colorful background.
