Shown above is the list of discontinued Canon EOS DSLR cameras.
Cameras are usually discontinued because a new, better, more capable, model was introduced. Introduction of the new model does not change the performance of the replaced model, and whether that new model is worth the price premium over the discontinued model remains a valid question. Be sure to read the review for the current camera model that most interests you before deciding to buy the discontinued version. If the discontinued model is no longer available in new condition, risk is added to the discontinued side of the purchase equation and Canon eventually discontinues service for the old models.
Some of the DSLR cameras on this list were the base of my camera kit for years, and they can capture great images. That said, I would struggle to deliver the imagery made possible by some of the later-introduced feature upgrades.
