California Ground Squirrel

While California Ground Squirrels are not hard to find, they are somewhat difficult to capture in a nice photo - because they don't stop moving. At least the ones we encountered did not. This one wanted our lunch.
 
The downward perspective nicely shows the California Ground Squirrel's coloration and creates a smooth granite background.
