The RF 135 far outperforms its predecessor, the Canon EF 135mm f/2L USM Lens, at a 1/3 stop wider aperture setting.

The Sony FE 135mm F1.8 GM Lens is an outstanding performer, but the Canon RF 135 is sharper at f/1.8.

The Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG HSM Art Lens also falls short of the RF 135's outstanding performance.

The Sigma 23mm F1.4 DC DN C Lens covers the APS-C image circle, and a 23mm on a Sony APS-C format camera provides a 34.5mm full-frame-equivalent angle of view (23mm x 1.5), and 34.5mm rounds to the 35mm angle of view that everyone loves.

This lens is a great addition to the Sigma F1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens series.
